Cdr Recording Failure – Find Out The Real Reasons.

Various kinds of CDRs are available in the stores. Even the wide range of brands may confuse less experienced users. But the cost of CDRs has come so much down that buying the CDR of even the best reputed brand hardly makes any significant difference. Standard CD has a diameter of 120 mm. It can hold up to 700 MB of data. The Mini CD has diameters varying from 60 to 80 mm. Selection can be made 

between CDR and CDRW on the basis of immediate and future use of recorded information.

I know many people in community who blame the brands for poor recording quality of their disc; while the problem lies with the process, software or CD writer. The problems with CD writer are detected easily even by the newbie but the problems associated with process and software remain hidden to trouble the users.

Although different CD writing software are used but Nero is most used one throughout the world. It is free and easy to use. If Nero is unable to burn CD-R, there may be many reasons and each of these has its own solution.

If Nero doesn’t burn a CDR, try again. If it fails again try with another disk. If you succeed this time then problem lies with disk.

Some CDs and DVDs are designed for low speed burning. Try to burn the development at low speed like 8 X or 24 X. 52X is considered the maximum writing speed that records 7800 KB/s and CD with 80 minute capacity takes around 1.5 minutes for complete burning.                                                                                                                          

If you face problem in burning CDs and DVDs, it may be because of other programs also that run simultaneously. Try again after closing all other operations. Sometime restart fixes many problems that are related with threads or cookies or mismatch of files. 

In case you are having regular problem in CDs and DVDs burning, try to reinstall the Nero after completely uninstalling the previous version. Don’t copy and install previously stored version. Download  fresh version and install.

If you doubt the working of CD burner, try disc burning with alternate recorder. Even the good quality branded CDs and DVDs recorder may get fail because of using substandard discs. Dust is another reason. This cause can be eliminated by using vacuum cleaner or air pumps. Unregulated power is another reason that causes the failure of recorder. 

Therefore, whenever you feel problem in disc recording do not just blame the manufacturers; instead try to find out the possible problem with system, CD burner, disc, software and/or process.
